Protein Biochip Technology – Agilix
Agilix is currently working on developing a novel technology for the development of protein biochips that are functional at smaller dimensions than any system presently available on the market. The biochips that are currently under development will enable Agilix to emerge as a leader in the genomics industry.
Since its founding, Agilix has sought to take leading edge genomics research developments out of the laboratory and into the marketplace. The biochip research division has undertaken the task of applying patented DNA biochip technology to the complex problems presented by the design of protein biochip equipment that can satisfy the demands of academic research in university laboratories as well as research in private sector labs.
Agilix has recently had the pleasure of bringing Dr. Michael Smith on board to take the lead on all new projects related to protein biochip development. Dr. Smith brings over twenty years of research and management experience at the front lines of the biotech industry to help Agilix continue to provide scientists with the highest quality research tools, equipment, and methodology possible.
